Chivalry 2 is a distinctive action game developed by Torn Banner Studios for PC. It’s a first-person fighting game with a focus on close-quarters combat. Set in the Middle Ages, players assume the roles of knights and experience memorable events from their history.
Similar to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Chivalry 2 features fast-paced, brutal combat. Skirmishes range from one-on-one duels to encounters with multiple opponents coming from multiple directions. Fight against player-controlled knights and soldiers in this multiplayer game using swords, maces, bows, and many other types of weapons.
How to Play Chivalry 2:
Chivalry 2 is played in the first-person perspective, but you can switch to the third-person perspective if you wish. It equips you with a variety of weapons, including longswords and sledgehammers for melee combat, and bows and arrows for ranged combat. New weapons can be found in weapons caches scattered throughout the map. And if things go south, you can even pick up severed limbs and swing for your life.
Gameplay-wise, Chivalry 2 features two modes supporting a maximum of 64 players. The first is a regular team deathmatch, and the second is a team objective that involves attacking and defending various points of interest on the map. Combat revolves around swings and horizontal/vertical thrusts, as well as blocking to defend—simple, but timing is crucial.
Chivalry 2 draws inspiration from its predecessors and improves on what already exists. If its recently concluded closed beta is any indication, this game looks set to be one of the best multiplayer first-person shooters released to date. It will be released on PC and other major platforms on June 8, 2021.
