Sleeping Dogs Free Download Full Version
About this Game:
Sleeping Dogs is a hybrid of action and role-playing. It offers a captivating, if occasionally comedic, plot that takes you on a journey through the mind of an undercover cop infiltrating Hong Kong’s criminal underworld.
Sleeping Dogs encompasses a variety of experiences, from completing the main story to hijacking armored cars for the Triads. During your stay in this fictional version of Hong Kong, you’ll use a combination of martial arts and weapons to accomplish various missions, from protecting your gang leader to ensnaring drug dealers.
Story:
At the beginning of Sleeping Dogs, you meet Wei Shen, a San Francisco cop who grew up in Hong Kong and the United States. He returns to Hong Kong to work undercover, working his way up from foot soldier to sub-leader of his gang.
Shen must work as both a cop and a member of the Triads, completing tasks that help the police with their case, while also serving as a rising member of his gang, escorting and arresting them. As he advances, his missions become more complex, and his secret struggle intensifies as his dedication to the Triad gang conflicts with his police duties.
His double life becomes increasingly difficult and eventually conflicts with one another.
Gameplay:
Sleeping Dogs focuses on the main story missions and a variety of side missions, as well as collecting cases and finding health shrines.
The main story missions consist of police cases and Triad gang missions. Completing these missions will help Shen level up to unlock new abilities such as reduced weapon recoil, reduced melee damage, and the ability to slow down time when stealing a new vehicle.
Side missions in the game are small tasks that typically require you to destroy cars, deliver goods, or trap rival gangs. There are also ongoing side missions such as collecting various jade statues in Hong Kong. These items are used to unlock new martial arts moves. You also need to locate several health shrines to increase your health as the game progresses. You can also complete races.
Small missions, such as going on dates with story characters, unlock locations for these collectibles. These missions increase your “face” rating, a personal system. While there are different moves learned by completing main missions, face rating unlocks new outfits and vehicles for purchase.
Sleeping Dogs’ combat system is excellent, with close-quarters combat being a priority. Different types of enemies require different strategies, and the grappling system is the most useful tool during combat. Learning new moves allows for a continuous stream of moves that can be used against enemies, even those with weapons.
Cars and motorcycles are the primary means of transportation. Each vehicle has its own characteristics, and purchasing different cars and motorcycles is a lot of fun. It won’t take long to accumulate a lot of money to purchase various vehicles.
You’ll spend a lot of time on the road, and fortunately, the fictional size of Hong Kong makes driving easy and fun. Cars have the ability to collide with other cars, which is useful when escaping the police or trying to stop a gang on the run.
Graphics:
Like most themed games, Sleeping Dogs leans toward realism. Because it’s set in Hong Kong, the majority of the characters are Asian. Fortunately, the few Caucasian characters are based on different models. Most of the generic characters that populate the game world are copy-pasted, but you don’t spend much time with them specifically, so it doesn’t matter.
The main and secondary characters are beautifully detailed, with a difference in detail between the game and the cutscenes. Sometimes, even the cutscenes make the characters look less detailed.
Hong Kong is divided into different sections, each with its own unique feel, giving you a different feeling when exiting and entering the highway. The different cities are beautifully detailed, and the vehicles have distinct characteristics. The game feels like a realistic version of Hong Kong, from the characters to the world’s architecture.
Although it’s not as detailed as other games, the immersion provided by Sleeping Dogs is excellent.
